Triggering Failures
All the hydraulic, pneumatic and electrotechnical components in Automation Studio™ are integrated with predefined failures that can be user activated or they can also be configured to automatically break down when a specific condition is met, such as exceeding a maximum pressure on a hydraulic component or a maximum current on an electrical component, etc….
You can quickly and easily perform "What-if" scenarios to resolve potential problems. During simulation, failed components affect the complete circuit just as they would in real life, giving you the possibility to easily analyze the global impact of a given failure on your system.
Realistic Troubleshooting Tools
Automation Studio™ provides a complete set of measuring tools, including a multimeter, hydraulic tester, manometer and thermometer. With these tools, you can place probes anywhere on the simulated circuit to disconnect wires or pipes and obtain instant readings.
The state of the complete circuit is then instantaneously and realistically updated. A repair tool is also provided, allowing you to select and remove any suspected fault(s). You can also disconnect wires or lines to isolate parts of a circuit, perform measurements, and repair or replace components to fix suspected failures. |
